Nakhon Si Thammarat has different transportation services. The city's airport is only 12 kilometers away from the train station, and it has two airlines, Air Asia and Nok Air, which operate daily flights from Bangkok, you can also take the daily train from Bangkok Railway Station to Nakhon Si Thammarat at 5:35 PM and 7:15 PM that has a duration around 12 and 14 hours. The Nakhon Si Thammarat train station is located in the center of the city, close to restaurants and hotels.
In the south of Bangkok, regular and air-conditioned buses leave throughout the day and last approximately 13 hours. Bus prices vary depending on the bus, VIP buses are much more expensive, between 500 - 560 baht. If you are in Surat Thani, you can take the air-conditioned minibus that leaves from Talat Kaset.
The ferry service is the best option if you are looking for a more adventurous trip, in the islands of Koh Phangan, Koh Samui and Koh Tao you can take the boat that will take you to Nakhon Si Thammarat Town.

Nakhon Si Thammarat offers agreeable beaches where you can relax and sunbathe. In the province you can find unoccupied beaches like Laem Talumphuk and Haad Sa Bua, these expansions of fine sand are about 60 kilometers from Nakhon city and it offers you a variety of cheap seafood restaurants by the sea, it’s a great option if you are looking for a private atmosphere.
