The updated departure times for Lomprayah High Speed Ferries Co., Ltd ferry routes below replace the previously published schedule on three afternoon and evening sailings in the Gulf of Thailand.

Previous departure times
- Koh Tao to Koh Phangan: 17:00 PM
- Koh Tao to Koh Samui: 17:00 PM
- Koh Phangan to Koh Samui (Pralarn): 19:00 PM
Updated departure times (effective from December 15, 2024)
- Koh Tao to Koh Phangan: 16:30 PM
- Koh Tao to Koh Samui: 16:30 PM
- Koh Phangan to Koh Samui (Pralarn): 18:30 PM
These changes will remain in effect until further notice.
Who and what is affected
Each of the three listed departures now leaves 30 minutes earlier than before. The announcement covers the Laemsor services only; sailings and departure times that are not listed above were not part of this notice.
If you are travelling on one of these departures, treat the earlier time as your new departure time and plan your pier arrival around it.
What it means for your trip
An earlier departure shortens the buffer between any morning activity and check-in at the pier. Diving, island tours and late hotel check-outs on Koh Tao in particular should be finished with time to spare.
It also shifts your arrival forward by roughly the same 30 minutes, which can affect onward connections such as a transfer to your accommodation or a linked journey booked for the same evening. If you hold a separate onward ticket, check that it still lines up.
