Koh Ngai, also called Koh Hai, is located off the coast of Trang yet it belongs to Krabi Province. The island is mostly visited from Trang and the surrounding islands like Koh Kradan and Koh Mook. The easiest way to travel to Ngai is through Trang. You can catch a train from Bangkok’s Hua Lamphong Railway Station to Trang Railway Station and then get on a taxi or a minivan in order to reach Parkmeng Pier to catch a ferry to the Fantasy Resort & Spa which the check-in point of the island as it doesn’t have an actual pier. Via the sea is the most convenient and the most exciting way of transportation between the islands. A speedboat trip is available every day from several locations like Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lipe, Koh Lanta, Phuket, and of course Koh Mook, Koh Kradan, and Koh Bulon. There are no roads or motorized vehicles on the island apart from the longtail boats as the island is only around 4 kilometers long and 2 kilometers wide, the only transportation on the island is two-legged!

Koh Ngai is known for its turquoise sea water and the white sandy beach. the best time to enjoy the beach in Ngai is in the early hours of the day as starting from the late morning till 4:30 pm, boats arrive to disembark tourists from the nearby islands.
Emerald Cave
Visiting this cave is a truly amazing experience. The Emerald cave is located in Koh Muk and in order to access the secret lagoon that is hidden inside the cave, travelers must swim into a narrow, dark passage, after emerging from the dark tunnel you’ll witness a stunningly green lagoon with a small white sandy beach. this experience is unlike anything you’ve experienced before. This cave will leave you in awe!
Kayaking
Koh Ngai is characterized by a triangular shape and a crystal water with plenty of coral reefs right off shore surrounding the island. One of the most interesting and fun activities to do in Koh Ngai is taking a kayak and watching the island from a distance while spotting colorful fish right beneath you, or you can simply Kayak your way to explore the nearby caves.
Snorkeling
Koh Ngai has some amazing coral reefs along its coastline, making it ideal for snorkeling. Due to its crystal clear water that is filled with beautiful marine life, Mu Koh Lanta National Park has put Koh Ngai under its supervision. The best snorkeling location in Ngai is the southernmost part of the island get ready to spot sea fans, colorful fish, and a variety of tropical corals.
