Koh Ngai Beach (Ao Na Ko)
Ao Na Ko is the main beach on Koh Ngai, running down the island's east coast - white sand, shallow water and a reef edge close in. Koh Ngai has no village and no roads; the resorts along this beach are essentially the island.
The view offshore is the reason people remember it: the limestone towers of Koh Ma and Koh Chueak rise straight out of the water a short boat ride away, and both are standard snorkelling stops with swim-through arches.
Coral begins close to the beach at the southern end. The island belongs administratively to Krabi though it is reached from Trang, and boats run in the dry season - services thin out considerably during the monsoon.
- Coconut Beach, Koh Ngai — A small beach at the island's southern end, reached by a shoreline walk from the main bay.
- Mango Bay (Ao Muang), Koh Ngai — A rocky bay on Koh Ngai's south-east shore with reef close to the rocks and almost no visitors.
