Ao Muang - Mango Bay - is a small bay on the south-east side of Koh Ngai, between the main beach and the island's southern tip. It has more rock than sand and no development at all.
The reef runs close to the rocks at both ends, which makes it a worthwhile snorkelling stop on a circuit of the island, and it is usually empty even when the main beach is not.
Entry is over rock rather than sand and the bay is exposed to weather from the east, so it is best on a calm day and better reached by longtail than on foot.

- Coconut Beach, Koh Ngai — A small beach at the island's southern end, reached by a shoreline walk from the main bay.
- Koh Ngai Beach (Ao Na Ko) — The island's long east-facing beach, looking across to the limestone towers of Koh Ma and Koh Chueak.
