The Bat Cave is an opening in the limestone on Koh Bulon Le's south-west shore, home to a colony of bats and reached by longtail from the main beach.
Boats go in when the tide allows and the swell is low; at other times you see it from outside. Local boatmen at Ao Pangka Yai run the trip and know when it is possible.
Do not disturb the roost or use flash. The cave is a habitat, not an exhibit, and the colony is the reason it is worth seeing at all.
