A new look for Ferrysamui.com
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new website, along with a new look, we have included some features that we hope will make visiting the site easier and provide a more interactive experience to our members and operators.
The redesign covers the whole booking journey on Ferrysamui.com, from searching a route to receiving your ticket. Everything you booked before the relaunch stays valid, and any tickets already issued are unaffected.
What has changed
The main changes you will notice are:
- A refreshed design that works on phones, tablets and desktop, so you can search and book while you travel.
- A clearer search and results layout, making it easier to compare departure times, travel times and prices side by side before you choose.
- Simpler booking steps, with passenger details, payment and confirmation laid out in a shorter, more readable flow.
- Improved account pages for members, so past and upcoming bookings are easier to find.
- Better tools for our operators, which helps keep timetable and availability information on the site current.
Who this affects
The new site is live for everyone: travellers booking a single journey, returning members with an account, and the ferry, bus, minivan and private transfer operators we work with. You do not need to create a new account or reinstall anything — simply visit the site as usual.
What it means for your trip
Practically, the aim is fewer steps between finding a departure and holding a confirmed ticket. Search results show the operator and service type for each option, so you can tell at a glance whether a connection is by ferry, bus, minivan or private transfer, and whether it involves a transfer between vehicles.
Prices, departure times and seat availability shown on the site come directly from the operators and can change, so we always recommend booking as soon as you have settled on a date, particularly around Thai public holidays and the high season.
Finding routes and destinations on the new site
Popular Koh Samui connections are reachable from the homepage and from each destination page. From Samui you can browse services to and from nearby islands and mainland piers, including Koh Samui to Koh Phangan ferries, Koh Samui to Koh Tao ferries and Koh Samui to Surat Thani transfers. Each route page lists the operators serving it with live departure times and current fares.
