The Phantip Office at Surat Thani train station is the check-in point most travellers use when continuing their journey by road after arriving on a long-distance train. The Phantip Travel Office is located directly opposite Surat Thani Railway Station, in the building just outside the station. It serves as the main check-in and departure point for bus and minivan transfers operated by Phantip Travel.
Because Phantip Office (Surat Thani Train Station) sits right next to the platforms, there is no need to arrange separate onward transport when you land in Phun Phin — your connection begins a short walk from where the train stops.
How to reach Phantip Office at Surat Thani train station
Leave the platform, exit the main station building, and cross the road. The office is in the row of buildings immediately opposite the entrance, clearly signed and easy to spot on foot with luggage.

Note that the railway station is in Phun Phin, several kilometres from Surat Thani town centre. If you are starting your trip in town rather than off a train, allow extra time to reach the station area.
Arriving from elsewhere in the region
Not every passenger reaches this office by rail. Travellers often arrive overland from other towns and provinces before picking up an onward connection here. Useful starting points include Bangkok to Surat Thani, Chumphon to Surat Thani and Hua Hin to Surat Thani on the eastern side of the peninsula.
From the Andaman coast and the interior, see Ao Nang to Surat Thani and Khao Sok National Park to Surat Thani. If you are coming back from the islands by ferry, the Donsak to Surat Thani route covers the pier-to-town leg.

Buses and minivans depart from this location. If your train arrives on time, staff members will guide you to the correct vehicle. In case of train delays, passengers may need to contact Phantip Restaurant near Time Square or travel to Surat Thani Town to arrange an alternative connection.
Have your booking confirmation ready before you leave the platform, keep your luggage with you until staff direct you to your vehicle, and allow a little buffer time if you are connecting onto a scheduled ferry later the same day.
