What is Samui Bike Week?
It's the incredibly popular Samui Bike Week from the 1st May, 2016, so fish out your Iron Maiden/Harley Davidson gear, and get along to Koh Samui to witness the "power, spirit, and unity" of the bikers event. Hosted by iders Club, it's going to be loud and proud - last year over 1,000 bikers flocked in from all over Thailand, Malaysia, and a host of different nations.
Loads of biker clubs and big-brand bikes will be there parading through the streets and gathering for cameraderie and tale-spinning. During the event, there's going to be lots of music, live entertainment from great bands, independent food stalls selling sizzling Thai dishes, cowboy shows and all kinds of big-bike gadgets and memorabilia.
It's all good fun, and there's lots of social responsibility at the heart of the event. This year's theme is "Riding for Peace and the Environment", and official sponsors include the Koh Samui Municipality, Tourism Association of Koh Samui, and the TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand).

How to get to Samui Bike Week
Koh Samui is an island, so every trip to Samui Bike Week ends with a sea crossing unless you fly in. Most riders and visitors travel to the Surat Thani area on the mainland first, then continue by ferry to one of the island's piers.
