Langkawi Sky Bridge
The Langkawi Sky Bridge is a curved pedestrian suspension bridge 125 metres long, hung from a single pylon and standing about 660 metres above sea level near the summit of Gunung Mat Cincang.
It is reached by the Panorama Langkawi cable car, one of the steepest in the world, which climbs from the Oriental Village at Teluk Burau. From the bridge the view takes in the island, the Andaman Sea and, on a clear day, Thai islands to the north.
Sections of the deck are glass. The cable car and bridge close in high wind or lightning, and both can involve long queues - the first cars of the day are the quietest.
