Karon Viewpoint, often signed as the Three Beaches viewpoint, is a terrace on the coast road where it climbs south out of Kata Noi. From it you look back along the west coast and see Kata Noi, Kata and Karon in one sweep, with Koh Pu offshore.
It is a roadside stop rather than a walk - park and step out. Late afternoon gives the best light, and it is on the natural route between Kata and Nai Harn or Promthep, so most people take it in passing.
The lay-by is small and gets congested at sunset, and the road either side is steep with tight bends.
