Kaw Kwang Beach, Koh Lanta

Kaw Kwang occupies the small headland immediately north-west of Saladan, at the very top of Koh Lanta Yai. It is a short walk from the pier and looks north across the channel to Koh Lanta Noi.

The beach is shallow, calm and backed by casuarinas, with a sandbar that runs out from the point at low tide. It is quieter than Klong Dao around the corner and handy if you arrive late or leave early.

Saladan's restaurants and the ferry pier are within walking distance, which no other beach on the island can claim.
