Love Koh Tao Viewpoint
The Love Koh Tao viewpoint sits on the ridge that runs down the middle of the island, part of a cluster of lookouts on the same high ground - Tanote Peak and the Sairee viewpoint are within a hundred metres, each facing a different way.
From the ridge the island falls away on both sides: Tanote Bay and the east coast one way, Sairee and Koh Nang Yuan the other. That is why several viewpoints share one hilltop and why the walk between them takes minutes.
The approach road climbs steeply and is in poor condition in places; many visitors leave the scooter below and walk the last stretch. A small entry fee is usually collected.
