Phuket Trickeye Museum
The Phuket Trickeye Museum is a gallery of large-scale trompe-l'oeil paintings — art built around perspective tricks, so that a visitor standing on a marked spot appears inside the scene when the photograph is taken. Rooms are themed: underwater, jungle and safari, classical art re-staged, and optical-illusion floors that read as holes or drops.
It is designed for participation rather than quiet viewing, and photography is the point rather than a concession. That makes it one of the more reliable rainy-afternoon options in Phuket Town, and an easy stop with children.
The museum is in the old town, within walking distance of the Thalang Road shophouses.
